A soccer tournament to celebrate our workers
At Spacekap, we firmly believe that a company’s success starts with the strength of its team. That’s why we organize the Fibro-Cup, an annual soccer tournament dedicated to our employees—and it’s become a much-anticipated event, especially among our foreign workers.
Soccer, a beloved sport and cultural cornerstone in Latin America, brings our team together in a festive and unifying atmosphere. But the Fibro-Cup is more than just a game. It creates opportunities for connection, camaraderie, and shared enjoyment—building a spirit of unity that extends well beyond the field and into our daily work: “This is the third edition of the Fibro-Cup,” shares Maria Mayorga, Director of Human Resources. “Our Latin American employees were asking for a tournament—soccer is like a religion to them! This year, about 30 workers took part, joined by their families, wives, and children. It’s a wonderful integration activity. We want our employees to be happy!”
This initiative is just one part of our broader commitment to team building and employee well-being. We understand how important it is to offer experiences that reflect our employees’ passions and help foster a sense of belonging: “In addition to soccer, we also organize activities throughout the year, such as apple picking, bowling, and bingo,” adds Maria.
